Snow Bike Track Size Explanation
Track Width
Width is the track size across the track.
Narrower tracks have lighter weight than wider tracks, but wider tracks have better traction and flotation in soft and deep snow than narrower ones.
Track Lug Height
Measures from the top side flat surface of the track to the top of the lug
More lug height will have better traction — as little as a quarter inch of extra height can make a substantial difference in acceleration and braking.
Track Drive Pitch
Drive pitch is the distance from one point on the track lug to the same point on the next lug.
The most used pitches are 2.52’’, 2.86’’, 3’’. Common phrases are “2.52 pitch” and what this means is that the track lugs are spaced out so that there is 2.52″ from a common point on each lug to the next.
Track Length
Length is the track circumference.
Length = Drive pitch x numbers of track segments. Shorter tracks have better handling performance than longer tracks, but longer tracks have better flotation.

PRODUCTION PROCESS
For custom tooling/mould tracks
Customer provides info. about the track you need (drawing or track sample for replica), your vehicle total weight, running speed and working circumstance. Our experienced engineer will offer advices accordingly. We can send one part of similar track that was manufactured for checking quality and technics.
Our experienced engineer will design the mould considering proper shrink percentage, and ensure the tracks made by this mould will meet the sizes and strength we expected.
Mould time would vary from 30-60days depending on different track size and technics.
Once track mould finished, we will test the mould and make several track samples for customer's test. This process usually take 3-5days.
Customer tests and runs the track samples, and provides us the feedback for mould modification if required. As per our experience, track samples usually pass customers' test, then move to the next step - mass production.
Once track sample approved by customer, bulk order production will be arranged. Production time may vary according to different tracks and q'ty.
Shipping can be arranged by customer's designated shipping forwarder, or use ours. We have long time cooperated shipping forwarder with good service and reasonable cost.

High Tensile Kevlar
Aramid Kevlar fiber used as track reinforcing material, is very lightweight, durable, and has superior strength than other reinforcing materials, providing the tracks increasing traction, and reduce stretching after long time use. The tracks made are much more flexible and have less ground disturbance.
Jointless Technology
Jointless Kevlar fiber is wound by one kevlar cord, which eliminates overlapping and weak points, ensures even & stable pitch size and traction of entire track circumference, and guarantees increased tensile strength of the track.
